This full-service acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the adult patient population. The facility operates with advanced technology and established clinical protocols to support quality, patient-centered care delivery. Clinical infrastructure is in place to facilitate coordinated inpatient neurosurgical coverage across all assigned periods.

Richmond, Virginia offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of dining, outdoor, and cultural experiences. Outdoor enthusiasts will find options such as rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, and whitewater paddling on the James River, as well as a 52-mile Capital Trail for cyclists. The nurse practitioner will provide inpatient neurosurgical coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at an on-site facility in Richmond, Virginia. Clinical responsibilities include post-procedural daily care for adult patients, as well as patient and family communication and education. The clinician will collaborate with one employed neurosurgery NP throughout all assigned coverage periods. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
