Job Description

We are hiring for a 2 month project in Keene, NH. We are looking for general construction laborers who can do punch list carpentry work, site cleanup, and material handling. This role will offer $20 - $24 an hour and can start immediately. If you're interested please apply and I will reach out to you as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Handle and move construction materials safely and efficiently across the job site.
• Assist with foam insulation tasks as directed by site supervisors or tradespeople.
• Support basic hardware installation, such as loading and staging doors and related components.
• Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and maintaining clear walkways and work areas.
• Use hand tools and power tools appropriately to complete assigned tasks.
• Follow all site safety rules and use required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Arrive on site punctually for a 7:00 AM start and complete assigned tasks through the workday.
• Work cooperatively with other laborers and construction personnel to meet project timelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good condition and report any issues to site leadership.

Essential Skills

• Previous construction site experience.
• Prior general labor experience in a physical, hands-on work environment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools.
• Ability to safely use power tools.
• Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks for a full workday.
• Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on multi-unit residential or apartment complex projects.
• Familiarity with foam insulation processes.
• Comfort working outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and adapt to shifting priorities on site.

Work Environment

You work on an active construction site in Keene, NH, supporting a large apartment complex build. The schedule runs approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, around 40 hours per week. The environment is fast-paced, outdoors and indoors, with exposure to typical construction conditions such as noise, dust, and varying weather. You use standard construction tools, including hand tools and power tools, and are required to wear appropriate PPE such as a hard hat, high-visibility vest or shirt, tool belt, and work boots (steel toe not required). Dress is practical and safety-focused, suitable for a construction setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Marlborough, NH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
