MRI Technologist Job in North Carolina

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

MRI Technologist — Travel Contract

Assignment Length: 13 weeks with possibility of extension
Weekly Compensation: between $1,700–$2,100
Schedule:3x12 days, M-W. 
No Weekends | No Call

Position Highlights
58-bed facility with no trauma designation
1 MRI imaging room
Average 7–11 patients per day
Primarily outpatient adults and geriatric patients
Occasional ED patients and limited inpatient volume
Rare pediatric patients
GE MRI equipment
EPIC EMR and PACS experience required
Free parking

Requirements
2–3 years of MRI experience required
ARRT(R) and ARRT(MR)
BLS certification (AHA)
Strong MRI clinical and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with geriatric and behavioral health patients

Schedule

First 2 weeks of orientation: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM then regular schedule is Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM                                                                                                                                                        No weekend rotation                                                                                                                                                 No on-call or callback requirements                                                                                                                Possible 1 holiday during the contract, with regular shift hours                                                                              Schedule is released every 6 weeks

Additional Expectations
May assist with X-ray if experienced and comfortable; not required
May be expected to assist with patient lifting when the department is not busy
Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the home unit
