This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 2026 to June 2027, offering the chance to provide dedicated, one-on-one nursing care to a preschooler with medical complexities. The role involves accompanying the student on their daily van ride to and from school, and providing nursing support throughout the school day. Your expertise will help ensure safety, growth, and access to education for this exceptional child.

Key Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing trach and full-time oxygen care, G-tube management, and support for complex diagnoses (tracheomalacia, hypothyroidism, reflux, Down syndrome, legal blindness, developmental delays)
• Ability to provide one-on-one care with empathy, patience, and professionalism
• Capable of handling medical emergencies and collaborating closely with school staff and parents
• Reliable and prompt, with flexibility in meeting the daily transportation schedule

Core Responsibilities:

• Meet the student at home each morning and accompany them safely on the van to and from school
• Supervise and ensure the student’s medical needs are met throughout the day, including trach, oxygen, and feeding care
• Administer medications as needed and monitor for any health changes
• Maintain clear communication with families and school staff
• Accurately document all care provided and report any health concerns promptly
