Certified Nursing Assistant in West Hartford, CT

Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support the well-being of a medically fragile student as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a rewarding school-based role for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work one-on-one, making a meaningful impact in an educational environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:15 AM to 2:30 PM
• August 27th through June 11th

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification required
• Proven experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, ideally in pediatric or school settings
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care
• Comfortable assisting with hygiene and feeding needs
• Female candidates preferred to accommodate student requirements
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver attentive, individualized care to a medically fragile student throughout the school day
• Assist with all hygiene routines and personal care, maintaining the student’s comfort and dignity
• Support feeding needs in accordance with care plans and protocols
• Collaborate closely with school staff and nursing teams
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in condition
• Attend onsite interviews as part of the application process
