Qualifications & Experience
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license for Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Preferred: Experience serving in Maryland schools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort and enthusiasm working with a K-12 caseload, including students with moderate to severe needs in self-contained high school settings
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites as part of an itinerant role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to meet a variety of student needs
- Assess communication skills and design interventions that support academic and social success
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement instructional strategies
- Maintain precise documentation and progress reports to guide student support
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to ensure comprehensive care
