We’re a small-town hardware store looking to add a great person to our team!

We’re searching for someone who can handle the responsibilities below, but more importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a great work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Check out customers using a computer/point-of-sale system.
• Answer and direct telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
• Help customers find the right products and guide them toward solutions for their needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
• Assist with stocking shelves, receiving merchandise, and pulling customer orders.
• Work as part of a team to provide every customer with a helpful and positive experience.
• Learn about our products and services so you can better assist our customers.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, dependable, and willing to work hard.
• Comfortable talking with customers and coworkers.
• A good problem solver who enjoys helping people.
• Able to learn new products, systems, and procedures.
• A team player who takes pride in their work.
• Willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

Experience in a hardware or retail environment is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are even more important!
