Position Description

The Licensed Psychologist will provide direct services as a member of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to assessment, consultation, and treatment planning. This role includes conducting psychological and/or neuropsychological evaluations, interpreting assessment findings, providing diagnostic clarification, and collaborating with treatment teams to support positive outcomes for children, adolescents, and families.

At Northwest Passage, we have intentionally built a collaborative assessment program that supports psychologists in practicing at the top of their license. Our assessment team includes psychometricians, psychology trainees, and administrative support staff who assist with test administration, scoring, scheduling, coordination, and other assessment-related functions. This team-based assessment model allows psychologists to focus on interpretation, consultation, and clinical expertise while leveraging psychometricians and administrative support for testing and operational functions.

The Licensed Psychologist will collaborate with agency leadership and treatment teams to ensure high-quality clinical services across programs, with opportunities to contribute in both outpatient and residential settings. Additional opportunities may include supervision, training, program development, and consultation based on experience and interest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and/or neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents as assigned.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, and consultation.
  • Prepare timely, high-quality psychological and neuropsychological reports and required clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, treatment providers, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
  • Participate in treatment planning and provide consultation throughout the course of care.
  • Provide consultation to colleagues and treatment teams as requested.
  • With approval from administration, provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to clinical staff and trainees as appropriate.
  • Participate in program development, quality improvement, and clinical education initiatives.
  • Provide formal and informal education regarding mental health, neurodevelopmental conditions, assessment findings, and evidence-based treatment concepts.

Work Location & Flexibility

Northwest Passage recognizes the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. Depending on caseload, assessment activities, client needs, and organizational priorities, this position may offer a hybrid work arrangement.

Many responsibilities, including report writing, case consultation, treatment planning, and administrative duties, may be completed remotely. In-person presence is generally required for direct evaluation activities, team collaboration, supervision, and certain client care responsibilities. On-site work may be conducted at our Webster, Frederic, and/or New Richmond, WI locations. While schedules vary based on client and program needs, many weeks may involve approximately 2-3 days on-site. Hybrid scheduling is determined by clinical responsibilities and organizational needs and may be adjusted as necessary.
