Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging and X-ray procedures across adult and pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality images and appropriate protocol selection.
- Operate CT equipment, monitor patient safety, apply radiation safety practices, and adapt protocols to clinical indications.
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, obtain consent when needed, and maintain patient comfort throughout imaging.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review images, make preliminary assessments, and document findings and observations in the electronic medical record (Epic) within the past two years.
- Maintain CT hardware and supplies, follow infection control procedures, and ensure accurate dose tracking and equipment calibration.
- Provide coverage for rotating shifts (days, evenings, weekends) and participate in float and call coverage as required by the assignment.
- Document procedures and results in the medical record, ensuring complete and compliant documentation per facility and Epic standards.

Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT CT certification and ARRT X-ray certification; BLS certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT/X-ray experience.
- Facility experience: Teaching facility experience is required.
- System experience: Epic experience within the past 2 years is required.
- Scheduling and mobility: Ability to rotate days/evenings/weekends; floating and on-call coverage as needed.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required due to limited public transit in the area; winter conditions may require all-season or snow tires.
