Cath Lab Tech - FT DaysPerforms diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and other related procedures.Inserts small catheters through a needle into the blood vessels and into the heart so that X-rays, angiograms and other recordings can be taken to determine the heart's structure and function.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.Typically reports to a manager.Requires ARRT and IEMA license. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
