MRI Technologist (MRI Tech)

**Job Summary:**
Performs high-quality MRI examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. Operates MRI equipment, ensures patient safety and comfort, administers contrast media when appropriate, and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

**Requirements:**

* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, or related field.
* Current state Radiologic Technologist license (if required).
* ARRT (R) certification required.
* ARRT (MR) certification preferred or required per facility policy.
* Current BLS/CPR certification required.
* Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
* Prepare and position patients while ensuring MRI safety and appropriate screening.
* Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies when required.
* Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
* Review image quality and ensure accurate documentation and image transfer.
* Maintain patient confidentiality and provide compassionate patient care.
* Follow infection control, MRI safety, and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
