Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Location: Onsite (5 days/week) in Danvers, Massachusetts Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: 1 Year Contract Compensation Range: $75-$85/hour W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .
Job Description: Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support new product development efforts for complex electronic hardware systems. This hands-on engineering role will own board-level development, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Own and support PCB assemblies through development and testing phases
- Troubleshoot board-level electrical issues including signal integrity and power-related problems
- Perform circuit and system-level diagnostics using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other test equipment
- Analyze test results and recommend design modifications or corrective actions
- Support root cause investigations and reliability assessments
- Review and modify schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive product improvements
- Document findings and provide technical reports on test results and recommendations
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of hands on experience as an Electrical Engineer
- 3 years of experience in Medical Device industry
- Experience designing PCB boards
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience at the circuit and system level
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and precision measurement equipment
- Ability to read and modify schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Experience with board-level diagnostics, component-level troubleshooting, and PCB rework
- Proven experience conducting structured root cause investigations using methodologies such as 5 Whys or Fishbone Analysis
- Familiarity with Altium or similar electrical design tools
- Experience supporting test development and validation activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience supporting complex embedded electronic products
- Reliability engineering experience
- Experience in high-volume product development environments
- Exposure to manufacturing test and validation processes
