A night in the life at our Torrance client site

When the facility quiets, you come alive. Based in Torrance, CA 90505, you’ll spend your night shift keeping advanced robotics and material handling equipment humming. You’ll move from a conveyor optimization to a motor alignment, from tracing a relay issue to tuning a VFD—each task ensuring the operation runs safely, efficiently, and without interruption.

What you’ll do
  • Make routine rounds to inspect mechanical and electrical systems across the facility.
  • Diagnose faults on MHE and conveyor lines, including motors, photo-eyes, relays, and related controls.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution assets to minimize downtime.
  • Pinpoint issues, determine root cause, and implement durable fixes.
  • Document all maintenance actions and parts used with precise, up-to-date records.
  • Coordinate with peers and operations to keep the floor safe, orderly, and productive.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements without exception.

What you’ll bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a maintenance-related discipline is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience as a maintenance technician or in a closely related trade.
  • Comfort using computers and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience working with both powered and non-powered hand tools.
  • Solid grounding in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Sharp troubleshooting instincts and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Self-starter who can also thrive in a team environment.
