Occupational Therapist – Acute
Medford, Oregon
0.9 FTE | Full-Time | Day Shift
The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients with a wide range of diagnoses and disabilities. Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, the therapist develops individualized treatment plans to maximize patient independence, functional abilities, and quality of life while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or
Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or
Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or equivalent educ/experience
Coursework/Training: Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent educ/experience
Upon hire: Oregon Occupational Therapist License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

- Acute Care Occupational Therapy experience preferred
- Experience performing patient evaluations and treatment planning
- Experience treating patients with various diagnoses and functional impairments
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Acute Care Hospital experience
- Inpatient Rehabilitation experience
- Neurological Rehabilitation
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation
- Stroke Rehabilitation
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Patient & Family Education
- Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration
