Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (INTR ACL) Technologist position in a healthcare facility. This role involves performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring patient safety through sterile technique and PPE. The position requires flexibility to float within scope as needed, with responsibilities including preparation, equipment set up, and assisting in complex procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts during daytime hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ARRT Radiography (ARRT R), Kansas license (LRT), with a minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional radiology.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with accessing/managing ports, adrenal angiography, endograft placements, and use of GE Innova IGS equipment.
- Float: Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed, including assistance in X-ray when IR is not busy.
- Additional Information: The role involves working on GE equipment with EPIC EMR and PACS, participating in imaging for vascular and interventional procedures, and maintaining sterile and PPE precautions throughout. The assignment runs from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027, with 3 shifts every 13 weeks and mandatory orientation hours.
