Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience for a day shift assignment requiring ARRT CT certification and EPIC experience.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Tech position
- Covers ED patients and inpatients with no scheduled outpatients during this shift
- Works independently after midnight
- 3x12 hour day shifts, Sunday-Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
- Uses GE and Siemens equipment with PACS system
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
- ARRT CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- EPIC charting experience required
- WA Radiological Technologist license required if applicable
- Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering)
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
- Experience with vascular chest imaging (PE studies, CTA, aorta)
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Experience with contrast media preparation and/or administration
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
- Level I and Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered if they have at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
- Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local candidates
- Travel pairs accepted
- Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
- Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers
