Industrial CAD Drafter - Now Hiring

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial engineering, is seeking an Industrial CAD Drafter to join their team. As an Industrial CAD Drafter, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting layout development and optimization projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial CAD Drafter

Location: Pinetops, NC

Pay Range: $33.00-$43.00 hourly 

Shift: Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm; One Saturday each month: 8am – 1pm

What's the Job?

• Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D master layouts of manufacturing plants using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of master layouts, incorporating updates and modifications as needed.
• Maintain the plant's Factory Twin, reflecting physical layout changes in digital models.
• Integrate new layout projects with existing master layouts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve conflicts and develop optimal layout solutions.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in layout development and optimization using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Experience in process engineering within manufacturing, industrial engineering, automotive, power products, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proficiency in CAD software and understanding of layout design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Pinetops, NC, with a flexible schedule including occasional Saturday work.
