Job Summary
Are you someone who enjoys working with machines, being part of a team, and producing quality products? We’re seeking a process Technician to join our team in Portage, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of operations by helping efficiently produce high-quality Plastic injection molded products in a team-oriented environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Process Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating injection molding machines: Producing corrugated products efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintaining production flow: Supporting production schedules through organization and teamwork.
- Ensuring workplace safety: Keeping a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
In addition, you will also assist with setup, troubleshooting, and supporting other production tasks based on business needs.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- Prior machine operator experience required
- Previous experience in an industrial or warehouse setting required
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Skills:
- Machine operation skills: Ability to operate converting machines to produce plastic mold injection products efficiently and accurately.
- Communication and teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with co-workers and support production goals.
- Problem-solving abilities: Willingness to troubleshoot issues and learn from others in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational skills: Ability to stay organized and meet production schedules.
- Commitment to safety and quality: Focused on maintaining company safety standards and producing quality work.
- Troubleshoot machine, mold, and material problems to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
- Accurately complete Process Verification and Tool Reports as required.
- Participate in die change activities and ensure proper care of all equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and machine control systems.
