Regional Miles With Every Weekend at Home

LEM Trucking is hiring CDL A truck drivers in Allentown, Pennsylvania for a regional position offering guaranteed weekly pay and consistent weekend home time. Drivers on this fleet operate established freight lanes without deliveries into New York City, providing a more predictable operating area and fewer delays caused by city traffic.

This position is a good fit for drivers who want to stay productive during the week and know when they will be returning home. Drivers are scheduled home every weekend for a full 48 hour reset while continuing to receive steady regional mileage.

Guaranteed Pay and Driver Compensation

Weekly earnings range from $1,300 to $1,500 with guaranteed pay available for qualified drivers. Individual compensation is based on verified driving experience, mileage, and the applicable CPM structure.

Additional earning opportunities are available through qualifying detention, layover, and breakdown pay. Drivers may also earn safety incentives, and qualified applicants may be eligible for a sign on bonus depending on the current hiring program.

Where You Will Run

The freight network includes regular lanes throughout portions of the Midwest and Southeast. Routes are specifically planned to avoid New York City while maintaining the freight volume needed to provide consistent miles.

Loads consist of dry van freight with a combination of drop and hook assignments and scheduled live load appointments. Freight is no touch, so drivers are not responsible for physically loading or unloading the trailer.

Freightliner Cascadia Equipment

Drivers are assigned 2019 through 2023 Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmissions. Trucks are equipped with refrigerators, televisions, SiriusXM, DirectTV, and additional features intended to make time on the road more comfortable.

Company paid truck washes are also provided to help drivers maintain their assigned equipment.

Insurance and Driver Benefits

The benefits package includes BCBS medical coverage along with dental and vision insurance. Drivers also have access to a retirement plan with company matching contributions, paid holidays, vacation pay, and an optional per diem program.

Rider and pet programs are available for eligible drivers. Paid orientation includes hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation.

CDL Driver Requirements

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and at least six months of verifiable tractor trailer experience within the previous three years. Drivers must meet DOT qualification requirements and company driving record standards.
