Medical Physicist
Assignment Details
Location: Farrell, Pennsylvania
Provider Type: Medical Physicist
Specialty: Medical Physics / Radiation Oncology
Start Date: August 31, 2026 / ASAP
Duration: 6 Months with Option to Renew
Coverage Need: Full-Time
Practice Setting: Radiation Oncology / Cancer Center
Coverage Type: Scheduled – No Call
Schedule: Monday–Friday
EMR / Treatment Planning: Eclipse / Aria
Provider Will Work Solo: Yes, with Medical Physics team support
Compensation: Open rates
Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Approximately 20 shifts per month
No Call
Provider must specify exact start date and availability at submission
Provider must indicate how many days per week they can commit
Provider must confirm willingness to commit for 6 months with option to renew
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical Medical Physics support
Perform quality assurance testing of radiation therapy equipment
Perform dosimetry calibration
Support radiation treatment planning and delivery
Provide clinical implementation and support for IMRT
Provide clinical implementation and support for SBRT
Support 4D CT and gated radiation therapy
Support prostate seed implant procedures
Provide physics support for VMAT
Provide physics support for IGRT
Support CBCT / OBI image-guided treatment
Support organ motion management
Work independently while collaborating with another Medical Physicist and broader Medical Physics team

Requirements
Board Certified Medical Physicist – Required
ABR Certification (DABR) – Required
ABR or ABMP Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or Therapeutic Radiology – Required
M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics or Medical Physics – Required
Minimum 3 Years of Clinical Medical Physics Experience – Required
Pennsylvania Licensure Required for Assignment
Candidates Needing to Obtain Pennsylvania Licensure May Be Considered
DEA – Not Required
CSR – Not Required
