Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technologist in the INTRA CL specialty is based at the healthcare facility. This position involves providing imaging services for interventional procedures, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic activities, and adhering to radiation safety and infection control policies. The role requires proficiency in physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic equipment operation.
Job Details
- Position Description: Will consider 16, 20, or 26-week assignments for a new Interventional Radiology/Special Procedure Technologist. The role involves 10-hour shifts with start times at 7:00 a.m., 7:30 a.m., or 8:00 a.m., with rotating schedules including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
- Required Qualifications: Radiography Registry (R) certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), two years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures, hybrid interventional radiology experience preferred, Connecticut State license to practice radiography, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must possess and maintain during employment an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. IVS to interview with manager to offer. Mandatory overtime may be required during the assignment.
