We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Mansfield, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join a collaborative cardiovascular team in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, be comfortable scrubbing and circulating cases, and have a strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety.

Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor Cath Lab procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to cases.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform and monitor hemodynamic measurements throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and cardiac rhythms during procedures.
• Assist with PCI, coronary angiography, stent placement, and other cardiovascular interventions.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow all infection prevention protocols.
• Anticipate physician needs and provide appropriate instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Assist with emergency procedures and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available for procedures.
• Participate in call, weekend, and holiday rotations as required.

Cath Lab Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or appropriate Cath Lab training program.
• Current ARRT(R) certification required.
• Current Ohio Radiologic License required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Experience with coronary angiography and PCI preferred.
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and cardiovascular procedures.
• Proficiency with sterile technique and Cath Lab safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Must be willing to participate in required call, weekend, and holiday rotations.
• Must meet all facility compliance and credentialing requirements prior to start.
