Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Sangerville, Maine. This outpatient clinic position involves providing therapy services to patients with orthopedic, neurovascular, and musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient setting. The role requires evaluating and treating patients, utilizing various modalities and equipment, and working independently with support available as needed.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: OT State Licensure, BLS certification, Bachelors degree or higher for education, outpatient experience of at least 1 year, Maine location, and 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Support within the Department: The department is managed by a Director of Rehab and Supervisor, who are not on site daily but accessible via phone.
- Support staff: 3 physical therapists, 3 occupational therapists, and 1 certified occupational therapy assistant.
- Additional Information: Orientation will be at least 2 days, based on skillset and comfort level, with preceptor support until independent practice. The dress code is business casualno jeans (except Fridays), closed-toed shoes, and professional scrubs without graphics, logos, or designs. Parking is available on-site.
