Maintenance I - Now Hiring

Our client, a manufacturing organization in the coatings division, is seeking a Maintenance I to join their team. As a Maintenance I, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.  This is a Direct Hire opportunity with benefits.

Job Title: Maintenance I (Direct Hire)
Location: Evansville, IN
Pay Range: $33.25 plus $2500 Sign-On Bonus
Shift: 2nd Shift (2pm-1030pm) Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures
• Install new equipment and perform building maintenance as directed
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedules and specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs using various tools and techniques
• Collaborate with outside contractors to ensure proper maintenance and repairs

What's Needed?

• 2-year degree in Industrial technology or advanced manufacturing preferred
• 1+ years of maintenance experience required, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
• Mechanical repair skills, general welding, and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and with production personnel
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety protocols
