Box truck otr

The Box Truck OTR driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a box truck in over-the-road (OTR) deliveries. This role involves transporting goods over long distances while adhering to all safety regulations and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate box truck for long-distance freight deliveries
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery activities
• Comply with all federal and state transportation laws
• Secure cargo properly to avoid damage during transit
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
