Material Handler

The Material Handler will play a key role within a large logistics department, responsible for managing inventory flow and supporting warehouse operations. Reporting directly to the warehouse manager, this position requires strong skills in forklift operation, inventory and shipping coordination, and quality inspection to ensure efficient material handling processes without the need for travel.

Wage: $21.55

Hours: 7am to 330pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control using warehouse management system
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy
• Pick orders accurately and prepare for shipment
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Coordinate shipping activities and document outbound deliveries
• Store materials in designated locations and maintain organization
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory status

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in material handling
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in inventory management
• Certified forklift operator
• Experience coordinating logistics activities
