Job Description
Kelly Nissan of Route 33 is hiring a Used Car Manager to lead and grow our high-volume pre-owned department. This is a rare opportunity for a proven automotive professional to take control of inventory, drive performance, and maximize profitability in a fast-paced dealership environment.
We are looking for a results-driven leader who knows how to source inventory, manage pricing, increase inventory turn, and hold gross.

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the used vehicle department
- Acquire inventory through auctions, trade-ins, service drive, and direct purchases
- Utilize tools like vAuto, ACV, and market data to price vehicles competitively
- Monitor and improve inventory turn, aging, and gross profit
- Appraise trades quickly and accurately
- Oversee reconditioning timelines and costs
- Ensure strong online merchandising and listing performance
- Collaborate with sales and BDC teams to increase lead conversion and volume
- Track KPIs and hold team accountable to performance goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Used Car Manager or Pre-Owned Manager
- Proven track record in a high-volume dealership
- Strong understanding of inventory management, pricing strategy, and market trends
- Experience with vAuto, ACV Auctions, or similar platforms
- Ability to drive both volume and gross profit
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- High energy and competitive mindset
