Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and 1+ years of Siemens CT experience.
Details
- Work in the Cat Scan department of a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Department has 2 scanners: Siemens Definition 40-slice and Siemens Definition Flash 128-slice
- Uses Epic EMR and Change (McKesson) PACS, with Medrad injectors
- Serves all ages, primarily geriatric and adult patients
- Common cases include ER and inpatient imaging
- Night shift schedule from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirements
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- License required if applicable
- 2-year radiology program education required
- Experience with advanced CT trauma protocols required
- Siemens CT scanner experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER/inpatient imaging environment
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging for ER and inpatient trauma and general diagnostic cases
- Report to the Director of Medical Imaging
- Scrubs may be any color, but casual wear, camo, or denim are not permitted
- An easygoing, adaptable personality is well-suited to this fast-paced department
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a local rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
