Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology Tech Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule4 ten-hour days with 10-11 call shifts per month, including weekends.
Job DescriptionThe Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology Tech provides crucial support in the execution of catheterization and interventional procedures. This role includes scrubbing and circulating cases in a fast-paced environment, requiring a strong background in cardiovascular interventions.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing interventional procedures.
- Scrub and circulate during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Manage and operate equipment effectively, including ACIST injectors, IABP, and IVUS.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a West Virginia license.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Experience with IABP and IVUS is highly preferred.
