Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week outpatient radiography assignment requiring ARRT R certification and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Outpatient general radiography setting within a large academic medical center
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Must be flexible to work any shift including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Requires on-call pager availability
- Uses Epic for charting
- On-site position with no teleworking options
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- ARRT R and BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- No pending license allowed at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general radiology, diagnostic X-ray, and surgical settings, and/or 3 total travel assignments
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple functions and varied schedules

- Produces high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards
- Operates a variety of radiology equipment and technology
- Practices safety guidelines to protect patients, self, and support personnel
- Fosters teamwork through effective communication
- Maintains flexibility to work across various locations, shift times, and shift lengths
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
- Travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from their initial start date, followed by a required break before returning
- COVID vaccination and booster required for consideration
