Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a general radiology position requiring ARRT (R) certification and 2 years of experience.
Details
- Outpatient general radiology and diagnostic imaging setting within a clinic radiography unit
- Must be flexible to work any shift including days, evenings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- May be required to respond to an on-call pager
- Uses Epic for charting
- On-site position with no teleworking
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Active license required (license required if applicable)
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- 2 years of experience in general radiology, diagnostic X-ray, and surgical settings, and/or 3 total travel assignments
- Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be organized, efficient, and able to multi-function across varied duties
Additional Information
- Produces high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards
- Requires competence with a variety of radiologic equipment and technology
- Follows established safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients
- Fosters teamwork through effective communication with department personnel
- Must maintain flexibility to staff various work locations and shift lengths
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
