Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring ARRT (R) certification and 2 years of general radiology experience.

Details

  • Outpatient general radiology department within a clinic setting
  • Performs general diagnostic X-ray and surgical radiology procedures
  • Must be flexible to work any shift 7 days a week, including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • 13-week assignment length
  • May be required to respond to an on-call pager
  • Uses Epic for charting
  • Must maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths

Requirements

  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • 2 years of general radiology, diagnostic X-ray, and surgical experience required, and/or 3 total travel assignments
  • Must have an active license; license required if applicable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized, efficient, and multi-functional

  • Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
  • Travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from the initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
