Spray Booth OperatorPay: $20.48 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with possible overtime on Fridays and Saturdays Penmac Staffing is seeking a dependable Spray Booth Operator for a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for safely applying finishes, stains, and coatings to wood products using spray booth equipment while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and production efficiency. If you have industrial spraying, painting, staining, or finishing experience and enjoy hands-on manufacturing work, this could be a great opportunity for you.Requirements for the Spray Booth Operator
  • Minimum of 1 year of commercial or industrial paint, spray, stain, or finishing experience
  • Ability to wear a respirator and follow all safety requirements
  • Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 to 2 years of wood finishing experience, preferably spray finishing
  • Knowledge of wood products and finishing techniques
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • OSHA 10 certification is a plus
Spray Booth Operator Responsibilities
  • Operate spray booth equipment to apply finishes, stains, and coatings to wood products
  • Prepare products for finishing and inspect completed work for quality standards
  • Support production needs for customer orders, inventory, product samples, and prototypes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
  • Promote a safe work environment for all employees and visitors
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand, walk, reach, and use hands throughout the shift
  • Frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed
  • Ability to distinguish colors and inspect finished products for quality
Work EnvironmentThis Spray Booth Operator position works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and other production-related conditions.
