  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM 
  • Rate: $22/hr
  • Assignment: Temp-to-Hire 
  • Industry: Irrigation and Water Conservation Industry 

Are you an experienced Electrical Assembler who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and building complex electrical and mechanical systems? This is an opportunity to work on the assembly of pump stations and other engineered systems. 

This isn't just a repetitive assembly role. You'll have the opportunity to build, troubleshoot, improve processes, and help keep production moving. 

What You'll Do 

  • Build electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies and enclosures from start to finish. 
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, CAD drawings, and mechanical blueprints. 
  • Load PLC and touchscreen control software. 
  • Troubleshoot and correct electrical and mechanical issues. 
  • Use testing and measurement equipment to verify quality and functionality. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, throughput, and production efficiency. 
  • Manage multiple projects and orders while meeting production deadlines. 
  • Maintain the tools, materials, and supplies needed for production. 
  • Help develop manufacturing procedures and productivity reports. 
  • Provide guidance and quality inspection support to other assemblers. 
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule. 

 

What You'll Bring 

  • 5+ years of relevant assembly/manufacturing experience preferred 
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles 
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints 
  • Strong hands-on assembly and troubleshooting skills 
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities 
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Basic computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel
