Press Brake Operator
This role supports a metal fabrication operation specializing in precision‑formed components used across industrial and commercial applications. The Press Brake Operator will set up and run brake equipment to form sheet metal and plate parts according to exact specifications. This position requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components using the correct tooling for the material and job requirements.
* Interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and CAD‑derived layouts to determine bending sequences and necessary machine adjustments.
* Inspect completed parts using calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
* Perform routine equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting to support consistent machine performance.
* Follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and use required PPE at all times.
