Job Details:

• 5x8 evening shifts, Monday through Friday
• Shift hours: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
• 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT CT certification required
• RT-R-CT certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Procedural experience required including iSTATs, Power Ports, and PPACs
• Experience with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement
• Proficiency with a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, brain perfusion, carotid, coronary CTA, colonography, and vascular imaging
• Experience with trauma imaging including musculoskeletal trauma and trauma head
• Ability to perform abscess drainages, aspirations, and biopsies
• Starting peripheral IVs and preparation and administration of contrast media required
• Radiation safety knowledge required
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Operates Siemens 64 Definition Somatom AS and Siemens 128 x.cite equipment
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Travelers may be floated to other campuses as needed

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a high-volume CT department with a daily census of approximately 105 CPTs and 75 patient visits per day across 3 CT rooms. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center offering a comprehensive range of imaging services and specialized procedures including chest tube placement, suprapubic catheter placement, and abscess drainages. The department is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and interpretation services, ensuring high-quality care for a diverse patient population including oncology, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, and geriatric patients.
