Driver - Now Hiring

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Driver is responsible for driving the 32’ food truck and/or produce truck to and from service destinations and special events, working with the Director to assist in the preparation and delivery of food to our patrons.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Drive the 32’ food truck and/or produce truck to service destinations and special events.
• Assist in stocking the food truck and/or produce truck for daily operations or special events. Assist during events as needed.
• Washing all Metro vans and trucks.
• Taking vehicles in for scheduled maintenance and repair.
• Transporting staff to events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving a delivery truck or food truck.

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent driving skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work well with a team or independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Provide a safe experience for individuals experiencing hunger, addiction and/or health concerns by treating them with dignity, empathy and respect.
