Step into a pivotal role supporting student well-being and success as a school psychologist in a dynamic Denver-area educational community. As a valued contributor, you'll provide essential mental health services while collaborating with colleagues, families, and the wider community to create a positive, supportive environment for all students.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Licensure as a School Psychologist (CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement required)
  • Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Demonstrated school-based experience (previous school experience required)
  • Expertise in student assessment, IEP development, and behavioral interventions
  • Strong oral/written communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to respond with a calm demeanor in crisis situations
  • Technological proficiency and comfort with electronic documentation/reporting
  • Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and contribute to a positive team culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct services, including group and individual counseling for special education students
  • Develop and implement interventions that address academic, behavioral, and mental health needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and write evaluation reports
  • Provide written documentation for IEPs, service logs, and progress reports
  • Assist with crisis management, including suicide risk and threat assessments
  • Collaborate in team meetings—IEP, MTSS, special education, and behavioral health
  • Consult with teachers, families, outside agencies, and community partners
  • Offer professional development and psychoeducation to staff, students, and families
  • Facilitate access to community mental health and support resources

This contract opportunity offers flexible coverage periods and locations, adapting to assignment needs within the school year. The position is onsite only (no virtual option), so your impact will be direct and immediate.
