Job Description

Make a meaningful impact for students as a school psychologist supporting short-term leave coverage assignments in the Denver area. This contract role is an onsite-only opportunity with assignments at various school levels, providing essential mental health and assessment services focused on special education students.

You’ll play a central role on multidisciplinary teams, directly supporting students through counseling, assessments, crisis management, and collaborative planning with educators and families. Coverage assignments and weekly hours will vary based on need—for example, providing full-time support at a middle school or part-time services at an elementary.

What we’re looking for:

  • Active Special Service Provider License in School Psychology (CDE endorsement required)
  • Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Prior experience working as a school psychologist within a K–12 setting
  • Outstanding skills in assessment, intervention, and written evaluation reporting
  • Calm, empathetic approach to crisis response and crisis intervention
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, with strong collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency with current educational technology and data management
  • Experience supporting diverse populations and working in multidisciplinary educational teams

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling for students based on IEP goals
  • Administer and interpret cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional assessments
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention and safety plans
  • Lead and support crisis interventions, including suicide risk and threat assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and outside providers
  • Document services, progress, and intervention outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and staff professional development
  • Consult on general and special education interventions, including MTSS support

If you’re a compassionate, credentialed school psychologist seeking a contract assignment that allows you to work directly with students while collaborating with exceptional teams, we encourage you to apply now to make a difference in local schools.

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.46 to $59.46. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
