Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for early childhood
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience teaching or supporting young children with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team of educators, specialists, and families
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction and adaptive teaching methods
• Commitment to promoting an inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individualized instructional programs to meet the needs of young children with special needs
• Deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student’s unique learning style and ability
• Develop and maintain detailed records, including IEPs and ongoing progress monitoring
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other special education staff to enhance student outcomes
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support student learning and growth
• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom climate that encourages social, emotional, and academic development
