Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative | 7:00AM – 4:00PM | Monday – Friday | $20.00/hr

A local manufacturer of corrugated packaging materials, part of company which operates ten facilities across five states, has a need for a Customer Service Representative. This person will provide information to customers regarding product inquiries, services, and the status of orders and projects.

Qualifications - Customer Service Representative

• Experience in customer service
• Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge
• Software skills in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Ability to calculate and apply basic mathematic concepts
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 Responsibilities - Customer Service Representative

• Answer customer inquiries concerning products, services, and order status
• Obtain customer expectations and react effectively
• Process incoming calls for freight pickup
• Track scheduled freight deliveries
• Interact with production and other business units regarding customer needs
• Assist in determining the cause of customer complaints and implementing corrective action
• Provide effective communication between company and customer
• Maintain vendor managed inventory programs
• Create, maintain and publish reports required internally and externally
