This full-time, onsite school psychologist position offers a rewarding opportunity to support elementary students while collaborating with fellow professionals who value an energetic, positive approach. You'll be serving two engaging and diverse elementary environments, helping students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. The selection process includes interviews with school leadership, allowing you to showcase your unique skills and experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active ‘Professional Special Services License’ through the Colorado Department of Education (or in process for travelers)
- Previous experience as a school psychologist, ideally in elementary settings
- Ability to clearly articulate your professional background and skills during interviews
- A lively, optimistic demeanor and a collaborative mindset
- Willingness and ability to work onsite with dedicated teams
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 40 students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and evaluations
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and special education plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to address student needs
- Facilitate individual and group interventions focused on academic and emotional growth
- Maintain detailed documentation and communicate findings effectively
In this role, you'll work full-time on a contract basis, fully immersed in the school community for the duration of the assignment.
