While this position is primarily remote, candidates must be willing to attend onsite meetings, training, and team events in Coralville, Iowa as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders regarding: Policy changes, Coverage questions, Billing inquiries, Claims-related questions
  • Respond to client inquiries received via phone, email, text, and online channels.
  • Educate clients on coverage options and help them understand the value of their policies.
  • Process policy updates and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve issues and obtain information.
  • Prepare and send documentation for review and signature.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy activity.
  • Support licensed sales agents with service-related requests.
  • Review existing policies and identify opportunities for improved pricing or coverage when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and agency policies.


Required

  • Active Property & Casualty License, or previous licensure that can be reinstated.
  • 2+ years of insurance agency experience for Insurance Service Specialist level.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • High level of professionalism and dependability.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
