Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of hands-on classroom experience required
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or currently in the process of obtaining one (unfortunately, TEE cannot be accepted at this time)
  • Strong background in school psychology services within diverse and dynamic student populations
  • Capable of submitting a copy of your current CDE license or COOL alongside your resume for application review
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with both staff and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, consultations, and individualized supports for students from preschool through 8th grade
  • Participate in teacher and professional development days, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-related meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create and implement effective interventions supporting student learning and emotional well-being
  • Remain up to date with educational best practices and legal requirements for special education and psychological services
  • Maintain clear and confidential documentation related to student services and progress reports

This contract spans the academic year (approximately 185 workdays), providing the opportunity for meaningful engagement with students and staff. You'll work a 35-hour week onsite, ensuring a consistent presence in the school community and ample time to build strong relationships.
