\n· Number of Beds – 2 triage rooms, 10 labor rooms, 2 ORs
\n· Number of Staff – PRN- 16, FT- 22, C/L- 17
\n· Type of staff:
\no Day Shift – 1 charge nurse, I triage nurse, 6 RNs, 1 scrub tech, 1 secretary
\no Night Shift – 1 charge nurse, 1 triage nurse, 5 RNs, 1 scrub, 1 secretary
\n· Patient Ratios – 1:1, 2:1 depending on acuity
\n· Type of equipment – fetal monitors, IUPC, FSE, fluid warmer, IV pumps, epidural pumps
\n· EMR – CPN, Meditech
\nTypical hiring profile
\nSkill Set Most recruited for
\nMust have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
\n· Proficient in starting IVs and drawing labs
\n· Interpret fetal strips
\n· Proficient in vag exams
\n· OB circulator
\nPreferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
\n· Ability to scrub
\nList typical procedures performed on unit(s):
\n· vaginal deliveries
\n· c/sections
\n· amniocentesis
\n· amnioinfusions
\n· IUPC/FSE placement
\nBest personality Fit:

\nREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
\n· BLS
\n· ACLS
\n· NRP
\nFloating Area(s):
\n· Closed unit
\n· C/L to postpartum

\n· Scrub Color/Attire – teal scrubs for nursing staff, navy for techs
\nUnit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
\nWeekends and On call(if any)
\n· Rotate every other weekend
\n· Possible circulator call
