RBT/ BCBA / BCaBA Practicum Candidate – School-Based

Setting: Traditional K–12 School-Based
Schedule: Traditional K–12 school schedule
Contract: 40 weeks

\n Position Summary\n
    \n
  • Assist with client treatment programs and perform Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy procedures under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
  • \n
  • Implement 1:1 behavioral intervention programs for children.
  • \n
  • Collect, record, and report behavioral data.
  • \n
  • Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) in coordination with a BCBA.
  • \n
  • Participate in ABA training, team meetings, and mentorship activities.
  • \n
  • Prepare monthly graphs and progress reports.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with BCBA supervisors and interdisciplinary team members.
  • \n
  • Complete required clinical documentation and billing.
  • \n
  • Provide guidance and supervision to RBTs under the direction of the supervising BCBA.
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in an acceptable field.
  • \n
  • 1 year of RBT experience or equivalent experience.
  • \n
  • Must be gaining supervised hours toward eligibility to sit for the BCBA or BCaBA board examination.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of ABA, discrete trial teaching, behavior management, child development, and data collection preferred.
  • \n
  • Must participate fully in the mentorship program.
  • \n
  • Must comply with all applicable state, federal, professional, and facility requirements.
  • \n

  • Support children with challenging behaviors and developmental needs.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate documentation and billing records.
  • \n
  • Communicate effectively with supervisory and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Ensure the classroom environment and equipment remain safe, sanitary, and orderly.
  • \n
  • Follow all BCBA supervision and mentorship requirements.
