Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a night shift Labor & Delivery/Postpartum position requiring at least 1 year of LDRP experience and the ability to circulate in c-sections.

Details\n

\n
• Level 2 OB and Level 2 nursery LDRP unit within a hospital setting
\n
• Unit includes 8 labor beds, 12 postpartum rooms, and 4 special care nursery beds
\n
• Triage is conducted using labor beds
\n
• One OB OR where nurses circulate for c-sections
\n
• Care spans L&D, triage, postpartum, and c-section circulating duties
\n
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
\n
• 13-week assignment length
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (IN state or compact) currently in hand
\n
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
\n
• Current BLS certification through AHA
\n
• Current ACLS certification through AHA
\n
• NRP certification through AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics preferred
\n
• Ascension Fetal Monitoring competency or equivalent AWHONN/Relias program completed within past 2 years
\n
• Minimum 1 year of LDRP nursing experience required
\n
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
\n

• Provide comprehensive care across labor and delivery, triage, postpartum, and c-section circulating
\n
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
\n
• COVID vaccination is not required
\n
