\nThe practice of computed tomography is performed by healthcare professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. A computed tomography technologist performs computed tomography procedures that create the images needed for interpretation and the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner\n\n\n\n

\nDemonstrate the ability to perform CT exams safely and accurately with reliable information regarding the performance of equipment, materials, and processes.
\nDemonstrates the ability to adjust protocols and procedures based on safe and effective practices.
\nDemonstrates the ability to evaluate an exam or procedure that would meet all quality assurance standards.
\nDemonstrates the ability to provide clear and precise documentation is essential for continuity of care, accuracy of care, and quality assurance.
\nDemonstrates the ability to promote a positive and collaborative practice atmosphere with other members of the health care team.
\nExpected to participate in professional organizations and scholarly activities such as research, scientific investigation, presentation, and publication to advance the profession.

\n\nKnowledge and Competency
\n\nNovice level experience. Competent in routine studies.
\nWorking knowledge of technical standards, scope of practice, department and health system policies, safety, and service standards.
\nWorking knowledge of imaging equipment, image processing software, instrumentation, and ancillary patient care equipment
\n\nEducation, Certification & Experience
\n\nThe position requires Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) or Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB)
\nBasic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
\n\n\n\n\n\n
Compensation Grade Ranges: CT Technologist I: $34.00 - $48.70 CT Technologist II: $34.00 - $48.70 CT Technologist III: $35.19 - $54.55 Actual Salary offers will be based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.\n
