American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a STICU Days position requiring TNCC certification and prior trauma ICU experience.

Details\n

\n
• Work in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit of a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center
\n
• 8-bed unit caring for Adult Trauma patients
\n
• Patient population includes post-surgical management for General Surgery, Vascular Surgery (Carotid, etc.), and Neuro Surgery cases
\n
• Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3
\n
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
\n
• 13-week assignment length
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
\n
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and TNCC
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
\n
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
\n
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide critical care nursing to trauma, post-surgical, vascular, and neuro surgery patients
\n
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates to be considered at a reduced rate
\n
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
