Mandatory Qualifications for This Job
\n- \n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required. \n
- Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health/Psychiatric RN experience preferred. \n
- Experience caring for Adult, Adolescent, and Geriatric psychiatric patients. \n
- Current AHA BLS Certification required. \n
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or de-escalation training preferred. \n
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health assessments, psychiatric medications, and crisis intervention. \n
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR). \n
Roles and Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric behavioral health patients. \n
- Perform psychiatric assessments and monitor patients' mental and physical health. \n
- Administer medications and monitor therapeutic responses. \n
- Implement individualized treatment and behavioral care plans. \n
- Respond to psychiatric emergencies using crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams. \n
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. \n
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals. \n
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a secure therapeutic environment. \n
