Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care

\n

Mercy Health – St. Rita’s in Lima, Ohio is seeking family nurse practitioner to provide Urgent Care.   

\n

Position Highlights:

\n

·12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. 8 hour Sunday shifts. Monday – Saturday 8 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM.

\n

· Urgent care of all age groups. Birth to end of life.

\n

· Assess/evaluate, diagnose, establish plan of care for patients.

\n

· Provide treatment - including referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary.

\n

· Perform physical assessments on patients and complete patient histories.

\n

· Order medications, treatments, labs, etc. as described and permitted under the Ohio State Medical Board and the Mercy Health St. Rita's credentialing boards.

\n

· Coordinate patient care, assessment. Counsel and advise patients regarding concerns.

\n

· This position includes holiday and weekend coverage on a rotating basis as well as coverage for ATO.

\n

· Willing to pick up extra shifts as needed.

\n

Education and Skills Required:

\n

\n
• Current licensure with the state of Ohio as a Nurse Practitioner.
\n
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
\n
