**Join Our Team as a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Progressive Care Unit - **Number of Beds:** 18 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4-5 - **Unit Staffing Description:** - 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCT) - 1 Unit Secretary - **Type of Equipment:** - Alaris Pumps - Kangaroo Pump - Pxysis - Computers available in every room - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Self-scheduling - 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule - **On Call Requirements:** None - **Floating Policy:** - 1. Travelers - 2. PRN Staff - 3. Date last floated - **Patient Experience Requirements:** - Focus on nurse courtesy and respect - Teamwork in patient care **Essential Certifications:** - ACLS - BLS - NIH **Request Skill Set:** - Experience in Telemetry & Pulmonary Step Down Unit - Care for patients with moderate physiological instability: - COPD exacerbation - Pneumonia - Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) - Trach patients - Monitor patients hemodynamically stable, requiring cardiac & respiratory monitoring (every 2-4 hours) **Nursing Interventions:** - Vital Signs: Every 4 hours - Continuous Cardiac Monitoring - Blood Glucose Monitoring: Every 4 hours - Neurological Monitoring as needed (NIHSS) **Dress Code:** - Required Uniform: Royal Blue **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - See Tele Unit specific standards of care - See Tele Nurse Performance Expectations **Additional Information:** - Cutting-edge equipment and technology - Experienced and tenured staff members - Flexible scheduling options **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
